Privacy and cookie policy
What we collect on valen-ai.com, why, and how you can change your mind at any time.
This notice is a good-faith template for a marketing site using a single measurement tool (Google Analytics) and is not a substitute for legal advice. Before treating it as final, have the controller details and the text reviewed by a privacy counsel.
Data controller
[TO BE COMPLETED: legal entity name, registered address, VAT/tax ID] — reachable at info@valen-ai.com.
Data collected through the site
The site does not require an account and does not collect contact data unless you write to info@valen-ai.com or book a demo via Calendly (subject to its own notice). Your browser stores, locally on your device (local storage), only the choice you make about cookies: this is not sent to us and is not a tracking cookie.
Google Analytics
If you accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the pages and which ones are most useful. The script only activates after your consent: before that moment, no data is sent to Google.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors in aggregate, statistical form, without identifying you. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_* | Maintains analytics session state. | Up to 2 years |
Google processes this data as a data processor, may transfer it outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, and retains it for the period configured in the account (up to 14 months). You can read their notice at policies.google.com/privacy.
Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the “🍪 Cookie preferences” button visible at the bottom left of every page. If you reject, or make no choice, no analytics data is collected.
Your rights
You can request at any time, by writing to info@valen-ai.com: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, within the limits set by GDPR articles 15-22. You can also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, or with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
This page may be updated over time; the date at the top reflects the latest change. Any substantial change to how data is processed will be clearly flagged.
